Ampere Electric’s 300th dealership opens in Panvel

Ampere has added 80 new dealership outlets since easing of the lockdown.

Ampere Electric, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton has strengthened its EV dealership network in the country with the opening of its 300th dealership outlet in Panvel, Maharashtra. With this, Ampere has added 80 new dealership outlets since easing of the lockdown.

The company has launched a series of fast-speed electric two-wheelers in the last 18 months and is among one of the highest-selling e2Ws with over 20 percent market share in the segment. It has also made strong headways in the B2B segment with customers for last mile e-commerce deliveries. It has also witnessed from B2C customers due to preference towards personal mobility over public transport.

Speaking on the 300 dealership milestones, P Sanjeev, COO, electric 2-wheeler at Ampere Electric said, “We are now a family of over 75,000 customers and 300 dealers in the country. To set the pace for further expansion of market share, the company has been strengthening its leadership and has also recently appointed Roy Kurian as COO, E-Mobility Business (2W&3W).
