Altigreen delivers 200 fast-charging e-three-wheelers to B2B, B2C customers
EV OEM makes its largest single-day delivery to customers in Bengaluru including Buy 2 Coffee, Fyn Mobility, DCO, Motherhood Foods and Go One.
Commercial electric vehicle maker Altigreen has delivered 200 Altigreen neEV Tez three-wheelers to Fyn Mobility in a single day, earlier this week, in Bengaluru.
The neEV Tez vehicles were delivered to B2B and B2C category customers like Buy 2 Coffee, Fyn Mobility, DCO, Motherhood Foods and Go One at Altigreen’s Retail Experience Centre through Magnum Ventures in Bengaluru.
The Altigreen neEV low deck and high deck offer a claimed best-in- class range of 151km (certified), 950 GVW and 220mm ground clearance and 177 cuft capacity.
Launched in January 2023, the neEV Tez, as per the company, is an extremely cost-efficient, solid workhorse that finds use across several applications such as retail, cold storage, FMCG distribution, grocery and courier. The vehicle is manufactured at Altigreen’s Malur facility in Karnataka where the plant produces over 180 NeEV Tez vehicles every month.
The Altigreen NeEV Tez, powered by Exponent, offers one-hour charging on DC001 network, and a 15-minute full charge at an e^pump, as opposed to the industry average of around 4 hours. The battery comes with a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% rapid charging versus the industry average of around 1000 cycle life.
The speedy charging means NeEV Tez users can now use the same EV to complete two shifts, thereby increasing their productivity and income. They also benefit from the use of the public e^pump network.
Dr Amitabh Saran, founder and CEO, Altigreen, said, “This is a milestone for all of us at Altigreen. It is overwhelming to see such a great response for neEV Tez from B2B and B2C customers alike. We are excited to be playing an important role in helping businesses across India transition to electric mobility.”
A dealership was opened in Jamshedpur on February 26.
Retail network expansion underway
Altigreen, which opened its second showroom in Mumbai on March 21, and one in Gurugram on March 23, has expanded its retail network to 26 outlets. The EV OEM has now announced new partnerships to launch over 30 Retail Experience Centers and showrooms across India where its electric vehicles are available.
