M&M’s new sub-4-metre Verito to be called Vibe
Mumbai, April 12, 2013: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that its new sub-four-metre Verito, slated for launch next month, will be called the Verito Vibe. The Verito Vibe will be powered by Mahindra’s 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine and will come with styling elements that the carmaker hopes will appeal to a younger section of customers.

The Verito Vibe will be powered by Mahindra’s 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine and will come with styling elements that the carmaker hopes will appeal to a younger section of customers.

The Verito Vibe marks our entry in the high volume sub-four-metre segment. While developing this product, we have paid particular attention to making this car look different. We are sure that it will appeal to customers with its young and sporty looks and that too without compromising the benefits which our existing Verito has to offer."
Sub-four-metre vehicles in India benefit from excise duty of 12 percent as against 22 percent for larger cars.
