Face-lifted Ford Ikon receives strong initial market response

The newly launched Ford Ikon has already registered over 2,000 bookings in less than a month since its launch. According to Nigel Wark, executive director, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford India, "We have more than 2,000 bookings already, a clear indication that exciting products with great value for money proposition are being well appreciated by our customers and proving to be a success.’’

On November 5, Ford India launched its new Ikon range, offering improvements ranging from a new advanced DuraTorq TDCi engine with superior fuel efficiency, to fresh looks drawn from bold European design cues.

Timothy Tucker, vice- president, Sales, Ford India added, ‘’The new Ford Ikon has received terrific reviews across the country and is testament that we have our fingers strong on the pulse of our customers. Dealers across India are echoing of heightened consumer interest.’’

The new Ikon range starts at Rs 4.59 lakh.
