Varroc opens new facility in Vietnam to meet ASEAN market demand

Varroc  Lighting Systems, the leading global supplier of exterior vehicle lighting equipment, is expanding its global capabilities in key emerging markets. The company has announced that it has started a new production facility in Vietnam.

According to the company, the new manufacturing plant will boost its ability to deliver leading-edge technology to customers in the region. The plant is located about 30 minutes outside of Hanoi, and will build upon the success of Triom, the Italian lighting company owned by Varroc.  The company states that the Vietnam production unit will help Varroc Lighting to cater to the four-wheeler lighting market.

“Our presence in Vietnam with Triom has been very successful over the past five years. With this expansion, we now have an opportunity to build on that success. Our new facility puts us in a strong competitive position to support new and existing two-wheel and four-wheel customers in the ASEAN region,” said Stephane Vedie, president and CEO, Varroc Lighting Systems.

According to the company, the new facility will employ over 120 employees and will drive further expansion in the future.
