From January to November, Toyota has reported total vehicle sales of 9.21 million, more than Volkswagen’s 9.10 million cars.

Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor Corporation is all set to remain the world’s top-selling carmaker. The Japanese company, according to an Automotive News report, has topped global car sales last month and outsold the diesel emissions scandal-hit Volkswagen for the fifth straight month.

Toyota has reported total vehicle sales of 9.21 million in the first 11 months of the year, more than Volkswagen’s 9.10 million cars. Also, since July 2015, Toyota has consistently bettered  Volkswagen’s monthly sales which have fallen since October, the first month after the diesel emissions scandal hit the German automaker.
