Terra Motors Corporation, Japan’s leading manufacturer of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has begun commercial sale of the A4000i in European countries. The company claims the A4000i to be the world’s first electric scooter with a smartphone connection.

Terra Motors had displayed the A4000i at the International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, Italy in November and has called for distributors.
According to Toru Tokushige, CEO of Terra Motors, “There have already been concept models of electric motorcycles with smartphones. However, when it comes to mass-produced e-scooters, there has been no e-scooter and the A4000i is the world-first mass production model. Today, we are pleased to finally announce the sale start of A4000i in European countries.”
