Tata Motors Group’s global sales up 17 percent in February

The Group sold a total of 63,672 passenger vehicles globally in February 2016, up 18% YoY. The cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for this fiscal were 601,110 units, up 11% YoY.

Tata Motors Group’s global sales up 17 percent in February

Tata Motors Group, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, sold a total of 99,842 vehicles in February 2016, up 17% over the same period last year. The cumulative wholesales for for this fiscal included 947,504 units, up 8% Year-on-Year (YoY). 

Meanwhile the global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range stood at 36,170 units in February, up 15% YoY. The cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for this fiscal went up by 2% YoY with sales of 346,394 units.

Further, Group sold a total of 63,672 passenger vehicles globally in February 2016, up 18% YoY. The cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for this fiscal were 601,110 units, up 11% YoY. 

Meanwhile, the Tata Motors brand sold a total of 11,359 passenger vehicles globally in February, up 18% compared to the same period last year. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were flat at 121,604 an increase of just 1%, compared to the last fiscal. 

Lastly, the Jaguar Land Rover brand sold 52,313 vehicles globally which included 10,247 Jaguar vehicles and 42,066 Land Rover-badged vehicles. The cumulative wholesales for this fiscal were 88,736 Jaguar vehicles and 390,770 Land Rover vehicles. Combining both the brands, Jaguar Land Rover sold a total of 479,506 vehicles in this fiscal.
