Tata Daewoo CV to use Jura’s e-CAD wiring harness software

Jura, the leading manufacturer of wiring harness and auto parts in Korea, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles for technical cooperation for the introduction of its wiring harness e-CAD system 'CADvizor'.

Through this agreement, Jura will contribute to maximising the efficiency of Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles' wiring harness design and strengthening its competitiveness, which is expected to be an important turning point for the sustainable growth of Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles.

CADvizor is a state-of-the-art electrical CAD software for electrical design that provides specialized libraries and design services for creating wiring harness drawings for electric vehicles. The software improves the electronic design of Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles with greater precision and efficiency, while the various modules of CADvizor optimise the wiring harness design process, significantly improving overall efficiency.

Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles’ factory in Gunsan, South Korea, has a manufacturing capacity of 23,200 units per annum on a two-shift basis. The wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors is the second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in South Korea.
