Suzuki begins producing Ertiga in Myanmar, 100 units a month
With this, Myanmar becomes the third country, after India and Indonesia, to produce the Ertiga.
Suzuki Motor Corporation’s subsidiary, Suzuki (Myamar) Motor Co (SMMC) has begun production of the three-row, seven-seater Ertiga MPV in Myanmar. The plant, located in South Dagon, Yangon, has a monthly production target of 100 units.
With this, Myanmar becomes the third country, after India and Indonesia, to produce the Ertiga.
The same plant also manufactures the Carry LCV, which is to be launched in India. In FY2014, the Myanmar plant produced 1,350 Carrys.
