Nissan has announced the appointment of Guillaume Sicard as its deputy president, Nissan India Operations, effective July 1, 2014. He will report to Kenichiro Yomura, the president of Nissan India Operations and his responsibilities include strategic decision making and streamlining operational efficiency to help achieve the company’s objectives here.

"This appointment supports the recently-announced changes to our India operations and will enable us to continue delivering strong results and growth towards achievement of the Nissan Power 88 mid-term plan,” Yomura.

Sicard is currently chief operating officer - Renault Turkey (MAIS). He joined Renault in 1992 and has held several leadership positions in sales and marketing in France, Spain and South Africa.
