New motion race simulation centre in UK allows users to experience 200◦ wrap
Located on the Slough Trading Estate in Berkshire, the venue will allow individuals, groups and corporate guests to get behind the wheel of a range of racing cars, in fully professional simulators.
A new facility in UK offers users to experience unique car driving simulation by offering life-like movement across 3-axis of heave, pitch and roll for £15 (Rs 1,425).
Located on the Slough Trading Estate in Berkshire, the venue will allow individuals, groups and corporate guests to get behind the wheel of a range of racing cars, in fully professional simulators. The motion simulation room will offer six professional full motion TL3 simulators, each generating up to 2G of acceleration and offering life-like movement coupled with the world’s first 200 degree wrap around spherical screen, delivering visuals from a 6 million pixel image.
A simple press of a button can alter the driving position from a Formula 1, to a GT or road car allowing a fully immersive simulation. The TL3 simulators, already used by top race teams, feature professional race pedals and controls, and full force-back steering.
Drivers can experience the world’s most famous race circuits, and there will be a variety of sessions available to suit driver experience and ability.
Through its parent company, Motion Simulation, the company designs and manufactures its own simulators which are hand built by specially trained technicians.
Jonathan Bell, ex-racing car owner and founder of the company said “Motion Simulation has been supplying our TL3 simulators to Race Teams and Automotive clients for a number of years now, but we wanted everyone to have the opportunity of experiencing the thrill of the simulator themselves. You have to get inside and drive to appreciate just how realistic it is. With track days and circuit hire becoming unrealistically expensive for many people now, our facility offers the perfect chance to experience a range of exciting race cars, safely and conveniently. The sky’s the limit for motor manufacturers wanting to showcase their products or use our simulators at Motor shows or events to draw in the crowd.”
