A Maserati Ghibli is the vehicle of information dissemination at the Siemens booth at the ongoing Hannover Messe, the world's biggest industrial fair. Germany’s Siemens is the industrial software and automation solutions supplier for Maserati manufacturing operations.
The Ghibli, which is displayed in the Siemens Digitalization Forum, is along with its ‘digital twin’ helps illustrate the interaction between real and virtual components, transforming digitalization in manufacturing into an interactive experience.
The sporty Ghibli saloon along with Maserati flagship the nQuattroporte are manufactured at the state-of-the-art Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant in Grugliasco, close to Turin. They both feature V6 and V8 twin-turbo engines with power outputs ranging from 330-530hp: there is also a Q4 all-wheel drive version as well as the recently introduced V6 Turbo Diesel with 275hp. The range is completed by the GranTurismo coupe and the ‘open’ GranCabrio version, produced in Modena.
