Mahindra sets up new armored vehicle subsidiary in Jordan
The subsidiary will manufacture armoured vehicles, special purpose vehicles, ambulances, security vehicles, armored personnel carriers and also undertake vehicle modification.
The Mahindra Group has formed Mahindra Armored Vehicles Jordan as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra Emirates Vehicle Armouring, a step-down subsidiary of the company in which 88 percent of the shares are held by Mahindra Overseas Investment Company (Mauritius), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Mahindra Armored Vehicles Jordan will handle manufacture, armouring and sales of arrmoured vehicles, bullet-proof vehicles, security vehicles, military vehicles, cash-in-transit vehicles, police vehicles and special purpose vehicles.
It will also undertake modification, upgradation manufacturing and sales of different types of vehicles, component, parts, accessories, painting, fabrication, vehicle assembly, special accessories fitting, body manufacturing and vehicle upholstery services.
