John Paul Gregory joins Lotus as exterior design chief

UK-based Lotus, high-performance sports cars and hypercar maker has announced the appointment of John Paul Gregory as head of Exterior Design at Lotus Tech Creative Centre (LTCC) in Coventry, UK.

Lotus Tech is an affiliate company of Group Lotus (parent company), established as part of the Vision80 strategy in 2018. Operating across China, the UK and Europe and led by Ben Payne, the LTTC team is focused on the R&D of next-generation mobility solutions such as electrification, digitalisation, and more.

Gregory is well-known in the industry and has worked with Aston Martin and Bentley. At Bentley, he was responsible for the exterior designs for much of the current product line-up. Gregory’s current focus will be to embody the values of the brand and lead the team to research, design and progress the future of Lotus.

Ben Payne said “JP is a world-class talent with a proven track record in creativity, communication, and leading people.
