Honda Vietnam Co (HVN) has inaugurated its Line 6 and also celebrated the 25 millionth motorcycle production milestone at the Hanam and Vinh Phuc factory.

Adding one more production line expands the company’s production capacity by 250,000 units per year, a move which is expected to meet the increasing demand of the scooter market. The company currently has a capacity of 2.75 million motorcycles per annum.

HVN commenced operations in 1996 and produced the first motorcycle in December 1997. Over 20 years, HVN has strengthened its production facilities and motorcycle business activities through three motorcycle factories, a parts centre, and various workshops. In this period, both exports and sales in the domestic market have risen.
