Honda sets monthly production records in N America, USA, Asia and China
Honda Motor Co today announced a summary of automobile production, Japanese domestic sales, and export results for June 2016 and the first half of the calendar year (January-June 2016).
Honda Motor Co today announced a summary of automobile production, Japanese domestic sales, and export results for June 2016 and the first half of the calendar year (January-June 2016).
Production in June
Production in Japan for June 2016 experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month (since May 2016). Production in markets outside of Japan saw a year-on-year increase for the 16th consecutive month (since March 2015), setting record high production for June. This includes record high production in North America, USA, Asia and China.

Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the 13th consecutive month (since June 2015), also setting record high production for the month of June.

Production in H1, CY2016
Production in Japan for the first half of 2016 (H1) experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in two years (since the first six months of 2014).
Production in regions outside of Japan for H1 2016 recorded a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive year (since the first six months of 2012), setting record high production for the any half-year periods of the calendar year. This includes record high production in North America, USA, Asia and China.

Production worldwide for the first half of calendar year 2016 experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in two years (since the first six months of 2014).
