Honda sets July production records in China, Asia, N America
While production in Japan in July fell for the 12th consecutive month, Honda’s overseas output saw a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive month.
Honda Motor Co today announced a summary of its automobile production, Japanese domestic sales, and export results for the month of July 2015.
Production in Japan at 61,244 units in July 2015 was a year-on-year decrease (-27.9%) for the 12th consecutive month (since August 2014). Meanwhile, production in regions outside of Japan, at 389,270 (+7.1%), saw a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive month (since March 2015), setting record high production for the month of July. This includes record high production for the month of July in North America, USA, Asia and an all-time record production in China. In India, Honda manufactured a total of 18,339 units (+15.62%).
Production worldwide, at 389,270 units (+7.1%), was a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month (since June 2015).
