Halla Visteon Climate Control (HVCC), the 70-percent owned subsidiary of Visteon Corporation, has opened its first manufacturing facility in South America. The new plant in Atibaia, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, assembles heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) components for automakers in the region.
“This new facility in Brazil represents an important expansion of HVCC’s global footprint to capitalise on business opportunities and support our customers’ global platforms,” said YH Park, president and CEO of Halla Visteon Climate Control. “We are pleased to expand HVCC’s global reach to South America and to provide localisation opportunities to customers in this important region.”
