Fourth-generation Lexus RX to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show
The all-new RX gets a mix of sharp creases and curves, sharing the same design DNA with other recently-launched models in the Lexus line-up.
The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show will see the European premiere of the fourth-generation Lexus RX. As the best-selling model in the brand’s 26-year history—with sales of around 2.2 million units—the RX represents three out of ten vehicles ever sold by Lexus.
The all-new RX gets a mix of sharp creases and curves, sharing the same design DNA with other recently-launched models in the Lexus line-up. The redesigned RX interior reflects a balance of functionality and luxury.
The RX gets advanced redesigned hybrid and petrol powertrains, sophisticated safety technologies/driver aids that include the innovative Lexus Safety System+, and new convenience and technology features. The company says it is best Lexus SUV to date.
An addition to the GS line-up, the GS 200t, will also make its European premiere. The newcomer is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also new on the GS range, is the redesigned front end with standard Bi-LED headlamps.
