Italian sportsbike manufacturer Ducati has announced the new Monster 821, the third generation model of the iconic naked model.
Italian sportsbike manufacturer Ducati has announced the new Monster 821, the third generation model of the iconic naked model. It follows the unveiling of the new- generation Monster 1200 at the Milan International Motorcycle show last November.
Since the first Monster rolled out over 20 years ago, the Bologna-based company has sold over 290,000 Monsters.
The Monster 821 is powered by the Testastretta 11° engine that develops 112bhp and peak torque of 9.1kgm. The Italian manufacturer offers a seat height adjuster and the new Monster also gets an eight-level traction control system, three-stage ABS and three different riding modes.
The Monster 821 Dark gets a black frame and black wheels, while the Monster 821 standard will be available in trademark Ducati red with red frame and black wheels or white with red frame and matte red wheels.
