Production of the new Ducati XDiavel has commenced. The first cruiser made by the Bologna-based manufacturer came off the production line in Bologna on December 10.
The XDiavel is a new-generation Diavel and Ducati’s take on a power cruiser as it lies somewhere between a cruiser and traditional high performance motorcycle. The XDiavel features belt-drive, and comes with a new 1262cc, 156bhp, V-twin powerplant that develops maximum torque low in the powerband at 5000rpm. The XDiavel comes with fully adjustable Ohlins front and rear suspensions and offers a massive 240 section rear tyre, allowing the bike lean angles of up to 40 degrees. The XDiavel also comes equipped with a DPL (Ducati Power Launch) control system and LED-powered illumination all-round.
The XDiavel and XDiavel S versions of the new Ducati cruiser will be available at Ducati dealerships starting from February 2016 onwards (country specific).
