Datsun has started manufacture of its all-new On-Do four-door, five-seater sedan at the Togliatti plant in Russia, a partnership between the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Avtovaz. The first car came off the production line yesterday.
The On-Do, which is the result of joint development efforts of an international team of engineers from Russia, Japan and other countries, was styled at the Nissan Design Center in Atsugi, Japan.
The all-new sedan is being produced on one of the most modern lines in the Avtovaz facility. More than 5,000 employees are involved in the production of the On-Do.
