Chevrolet Indonesia has brought the legendary Corvette Stingray sportscar to the 22nd Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), which began yesterday in Jakarta.
“The engineering excellence, design and safety of the Corvette Stingray are embodied in every car that Chevrolet produces,” said Michael J Dunne, president director, GM Indonesia. “IIMS gives the people of Indonesia a chance to see this for themselves through our exciting display of models offered in this country.”
The Orlando, Captiva, Spin, Spin Activ and Aveo share the stage with the Corvette Stingray on the Chevrolet stand. Each of these vehicles appeals to those who want to stand out from the pack.
“Chevrolet is focused on getting closer to our customers across Indonesia,” said Michael. “Chevrolet owners like to be, think and act different. Being different is a source of pride and a cause for celebration, as they continually reach higher.”
He added, “Record global sales and growing sales of Chevrolet in Indonesia demonstrate that more customers are discovering the exceptional design, performance, safety and quality of our line-up of products.”
“Chevrolet always puts safety at the forefront,” added Michael. “We have worked aggressively to identify and address the major issues that could impact the well-being of our customers.”
Chevrolet products come equipped with a range of active and passive safety features that include anti-lock brakes, air bags, seatbelts with pre-tensioners and child safety locks. In addition, Chevrolet is promoting a safety culture in Indonesia through activities for owners such as group tours and safety driving sessions.
