From belt specialist to belt drive component specialist, the ContiTech Power Transmission Group is consistently expanding its competence in the automotive aftermarket and is demonstrating its wide-ranging expertise at Automechanika Frankfurt.
With ContiTech, customers in the free market for replacement parts have one central contact. "We don't only want to deliver first-class products, but put together a comprehensive package that helps our partners in sales and service to work more efficiently," says Markus Pirsch, head of Marketing Service in the Automotive Aftermarket unit of the ContiTech Power Transmission Group.
An ever more expansive kit range is an important step in this direction. The focus is on timing belt kits with water pumps. ContiTech's complete package with a timing belt, tensioner and deflection roller, accessory parts and water pump make it easier for vehicle professionals to replace all belt drive components at the same time. The parts are perfectly matched and do not need to be ordered individually. ContiTech now also provides support for the auxiliary drive – through a new range of kits with V-ribbed belt and tensioner to be presented for the first time at Automechanika. With about 100 complete packages, the drive component specialist covers a major portion of the most common applications.
