Aisin AW Co, in order cater to the future demand for automatic transmissions in ASEAN countries, plans to set up a fully owned new plant in Thailand.

Spread across 210,003 square metres, the plant will have a production capacity of about 12 million units per annum and will go on stream in July 2017. It will employ 300 people.
