Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the release of the first limited edition of Innova, launched less than two years ago in India. The limited edition Innova is available in two new colour variants - Simpson red and Warm Silver. Features have been added both in the interiors and exteriors.

According to a press release, Innova is Toyota's three-row passenger car, which within a short period has made a niche for itself by offering the luxury of a sedan with the performance of an MPV. The company has sold nearly 70,000 Innovas since its launch and it has captured 31 percent share in the MPV segment.

Announcing the launch of the limited edition Innova, Atsushi Toyoshima, managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, "It is our endeavor to constantly upgrade our products. Innova is a proven success in India and offers excellent interior space, comfort and safety. The limited edition is aimed at further delighting our customers."

The limited version Innova offers enhanced styling on the exteriors with a stylish side graphic in addition to attractive features like limited edition logo, muffler cutter, rear spoilers which complement the aerodynamic styling of the exteriors. Superior interiors of the limited edition are designed to offer excellent space and luxury. The vehicle comes with power windows and door locks. Innova interiors are now plusher with luxurious seats and insulators that reduce noise, vibrations and harshness, new fabric seats, door trims and fabric floor mats.

The limited edition comes is powered by a 2.5 litre D - 4D Diesel engine that delivers 102PS. It will be available for three months at Toyota dealerships from the second week of this month priced at Rs 8.26 Lakh (ex-showroom Chennai). TKM intends to sell 1000 units of the limited edition.
