Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. reported its highest monthly sales performance in October 2025, with total dispatches reaching 129,261 units. This figure represents a 5% increase from September 2025, when the company sold 123,550 units, continuing the growth momentum established during the festive season.
The October performance marked an 8% increase compared to the 120,055 units sold in October 2024, demonstrating sustained year-on-year growth for the two-wheeler manufacturer.
The company's domestic market performance showed a slight contraction in October, with sales reaching 103,454 units compared to 104,940 units in the same month last year. This represents a sequential decline from September's 105,886 domestic units, which had experienced strong growth driven by festive demand and GST reductions.
However, the export segment demonstrated strong performance, with 25,807 units shipped in October 2025, marking a 71% increase over the 15,115 units exported in October 2024. This contrasts with September's export figures of 17,664 units, indicating October saw exports rise by approximately 46% month-on-month.
Despite the modest decline in domestic wholesale figures, retail sales reached an all-time high of 140,679 units in October 2025, up from 136,976 units in October 2024. This performance suggests strong consumer demand at the dealership level during the festive period.
Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, attributed the performance to customer trust in the brand. He noted that the record retail sales demonstrated demand during the festive period and acknowledged support from the dealer network.
The company's spare parts business recorded revenue of INR 857 million in October 2025. This represents a decline from September's record spare parts revenue of INR 881 million, which had marked the third consecutive month of record sales in the aftermarket segment.
During October, Suzuki Motorcycle India introduced new color options for its GIXXER SF and GIXXER models with updated graphics. The company also expanded its retail footprint in Uttarakhand with the opening of a new dealership, Yoi Suzuki, in Roorkee, offering sales, service, and spare parts under one roof. The manufacturer hosted the 'Suzuki Moto Fest' across its dealerships, providing customers with riding experiences to explore its two-wheeler lineup.
The two-wheeler sector has experienced recovery in recent months, supported by GST 2.0 reforms that reduced taxes on two-wheelers, making them more affordable for consumers. The festive season traditionally drives increased vehicle purchases in India, with manufacturers offering promotional schemes during this period.
Suzuki Motorcycle India operates from its manufacturing facility in Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana, with an annual production capacity of 1.3 million units. The company manufactures 125cc scooters, premium motorcycles of 150cc and above, and larger displacement bikes for the Indian market. The subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, commenced operations in February 2006.
