Autocar Professional Yearbook 2025 released at 7th FADA Auto Retail Conclave
The Autocar Professional Yearbook 2025 features company profiles, sales and financial analyses, and insights on product pipelines, capacity growth, and technology shifts.
The Autocar Professional Yearbook 2025 was officially unveiled today at the 7th Auto Retail Conclave hosted by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). Released in the presence of industry stalwarts, the publication marks the first-ever comprehensive annual review of India’s car market.
Positioned as a definitive reference guide, the Yearbook captures a transformative period for the Indian automobile industry — one defined by the dominance of SUVs, the mainstreaming of hybrids, the first credible phase of electric vehicles, and the rapid rise of localisation and exports. At the same time, it documents the sector’s challenges, from shrinking demand for small cars to intensifying competition and policy uncertainty.
Speaking about the launch, Autocar Professional Editor said the Yearbook is designed to serve as both a chronicle and a guide. “This is not just a record of FY2024–25 but a compendium that decodes strategies, market shifts, and future directions, making it relevant for OEMs, policymakers, dealers, suppliers, and researchers alike. This is our attempt to give you a 360 degree view on every car maker in the country,” said Editor Ketan R Thakkar.
This Yearbook was brought out by experienced reporters and editors at the magazine.
The Autocar Professional Yearbook 2025 brings together detailed company profiles, sales and financial analyses, and forward-looking assessments of product pipelines, capacity expansions, and technology transitions — from multi-fuel pathways and electrification to software-defined vehicles.
With India’s auto industry entering what many describe as its most decisive decade, the Yearbook is intended as a trusted resource for decision-makers navigating ambition, adaptation, and transformation.
A print copy of the yearbook can be ordered from here and the order for a digital version can be placed here.
