The last month of 2012 witnessed OEMs underperform despite several marketing initiatives and discount schemes to boost their sales. All discounts and customer engagement schemes appeared to have had no effect on vehicle buyers and passenger car showrooms witnessed a slump in the number of footfalls during the month.
