Honda sells 4,178 e-scooters in four months, QC1 outsells Activa e

Honda Motorcycle & Scooters India, a recent entrant in the EV market, has manufactured 9,432 Activa e and QC1 electric scooters between February and May 2025, and dispatched 4,178 units to its dealers. In the February-April 2025 period, the more affordable QC1, which can be charged at home, accounted for 80% of the sales compared to the Activa e which uses swappable batteries.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), which entered the electric two-wheeler market earlier this year, has clocked cumulative wholesales of 4,178 e-scooters since launch. Deliveries of its two electric scooters – the Activa e and QC1 – had commenced in March 2025.
