204,330 made-in-India cars and UVs exported in Q1 FY2026, Maruti Suzuki takes huge lead

Maruti Suzuki India, India’s No. 1 passenger vehicle exporter for the past four fiscals, ships 96,181 units in April-June 2025 with its utility vehicles seeing more demand than its passenger cars and sedan. Three months into the fiscal, it has a strong lead of 48,041 units over Hyundai Motor India. Nissan, Toyota and Mahindra & Mahindra are the other OEMs which have seen demand in overseas markets.
