Strengthening the EV Charging Infrastructure | Panel Discussion

Despite significant improvements in products, as well as availability of options in the EV space, the charging infrastructure continues to remain a key element of the EV transition as it eliminates the biggest stumbling block - range anxiety - from the minds of potential EV customers.

While a predominant share of EV charging happens at home or workplace, a robust charging infrastructure at highways or within the city, ensures complete peace of mind for EV owners. As a result, various power distribution, and oil-marketing companies, as well as start-ups are already making a headway into establishing a deep charging infrastructure in the country.

At the Autocar Professional India EV Conclave held in Chennai on November 21, experts discussed the different ways of strengthening the EV charging infrastructure, and the need for some innovative solutions.

Panellists:

Virendra Goyal, Head BD - EV Charging, Tata Power

Arjun Singh, Founder, Hopcharge

Karthikeyan Palanisamy, Co-Founder & CEO, Zeon Charging
