VIDA partners with Lucknow Super Giants for IPL
As the official electric-mobility partner of the Lucknow Super Giants, the VIDA logo will be prominently visible on the player helmets and caps throughout the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
VIDA, the mobility brand of motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Hero MotoCorp, has partnered with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to become their official electric-mobility partner, for the IPL 2023.
As the official electric-mobility partner of the LSG, the VIDA logo will be prominently visible on the player helmets and caps throughout the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dr. Swadesh Srivastava, Head – Emerging Mobility Business Unit (EMBU), Hero MotoCorp, said, “In line with our brand promise of building a “Worry-free EV ecosystem”, we are ensuring that customers’ transition to EVs is smooth and hassle-free.”

The VIDA V1 comes with 2 removable batteries, and is available in Bengaluru, Jaipur, and Delhi through an Omnichannel presence that includes Experience Centers and pop-up stores.VIDA has set up nearly 300 charging points at 50 locations across Bengaluru, Delhi, and Jaipur. Its fast charging network allows users to charge their scooter’s battery at 1.2 kms/min.
The IPL has seen interest from many EV players from the Tatas as the official sponsor with Tiago, to the Mahindra, to Ather and Ampere. Tata Motors is in its sixth year of partnership with the Indian Premier League, and Mahindra and Mahindra has announced a partnership with Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Rajasthan Royals.
