Tata Elxsi partners with Red Hat for 5G connected vehicle applications

Tata Elxsi, a global engineering and design company, has partnered with Red Hat to help telecom companies move applications to 5G multi-cloud environments.

This collaboration involves the use of Red Hat's OpenShift platform for consistent cloud services and Tata Elxsi's Neuron platform for cloud automation and 5G application management.

Together, they will work on 5G-connected car projects, using Tata Elxsi’s CVP Platform (called TETHER) and Red Hat's In-Vehicle OS for edge analytics and data processing. Tata Elxsi will bring its expertise in connected vehicles and 5G network design to help global operators create innovative applications in automotive, healthcare, and other sectors.

Vivek Tiwari, Vice President of Tata Elxsi, stated that this collaboration will support the shift towards cloud-based, automated networks, enhancing services in the automotive, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
