Sonalika May tractor sales up 5.2% at 13,338

Sonalika Tractors reported a 5.2% jump in its domestic tractor sales in May at 13,338 units.

Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, expressed his excitement about the company's performance, stating, "We are thrilled to record 13,338 overall tractor sales in May 2024 and continue to outperform the domestic industry. The onset of the Kharif season has brought some buoyancy in tractor buying, and we are pleased to see the gradual shift towards farm mechanization in India."

The company's wide range of heavy-duty tractors, spanning from 20 to 120 HP, is designed to deliver supreme customer satisfaction and cater to the diverse needs of farmers.

With the monsoon season already underway and forecasts suggesting above-average rainfall, the agriculture sector is poised for a promising year.

To further support farmers, Sonalika has launched its latest "June Jackpot" offer, which aims to make heavy-duty tractors more affordable and accessible, promoting farm mechanization across the country.

Mittal further emphasized the critical role of monsoon in the agriculture ecosystem and highlighted the importance of adopting new-age farm technologies to bring about fundamental changes in the Indian farming landscape. He assured that Sonalika Tractors will continue to launch farmer-friendly schemes and introduce advanced heavy-duty tractors to lead this evolution.
