Sonalika Tractors Achieves Record December Sales of 12,392 Units

Sonalika Tractors has reported its highest December sales volume on record, with 12,392 tractors sold during the month. The performance represents a significant milestone for the company as it closed out calendar year 2025.

The sales figures come against a backdrop of expanded Rabi season sowing area compared to the previous year, indicating favorable agricultural conditions. According to company management, farmer sentiment remains positive, supported by crop prospects and ongoing adoption of farm mechanization technologies.

Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, attributed the results to the company's focus on developing tractors suited to diverse Indian farming conditions. The company positions its products as technology-equipped solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency and provide long-term value to agricultural producers.

Sonalika maintains manufacturing operations at its Hoshiarpur facility and distributes products through an extensive dealer network. The company reports serving over 1.8 million farmers and holds the position as India's leading tractor exporter by volume.

The December performance caps a year that the company characterizes as featuring multiple operational milestones. As the agricultural sector enters 2026, Sonalika has indicated its continued emphasis on mechanization solutions aimed at supporting sustainable farming practices.

The tractor industry's performance is closely tied to rural economic conditions, monsoon patterns, and government agricultural policies that influence farmer purchasing capacity and investment decisions in farm equipment.
