Mahindra Logistics appoint Vishal Sharma as VP- transport & procurement

Mahindra Logistics has announced appointment of Vishal Sharma as Vice President – Transportation and Procurement and senior management personnel at the company effective, May 17 (Friday).

Sharma, a seasoned logistics industry leader comes with about three decades of experience in performing strategic leadership roles across industries and
geographies in business portfolios with scale and complexity, the company stated in a regulatory update.

In his last stint at Adani Enterprise, he managed operations and commercials of 59 million tonnes/ Rs 6600 crore spend base in FY23 of coal and other commodities, reaching 2000+ customers in India through road & rail, heading three separate business segments.

Sharma has a B.Tech (Marine) from MERI, an Executive MBA from IIM, Bangalore and a Licentiate in General Insurance from Insurance Institute of India. He is a Life Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, the Indian Institution of Technical Arbitrators, Institution of Engineers (I), Indian Institute of Materials Management & National Safety Council.
