Ducati India announces price hike on motorcycle range from January 1, 2024
Ducati India MD, Bipul Chandra, attributes price hike to increased operational and production-related costs.
Luxury motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has revealed a price hike on select models within its range, set to take effect from January 1, 2024. The updated prices will apply to specific models and variants across Ducati's lineup, impacting the ex-showroom prices in India.
The adjustment will be implemented across all official Ducati dealerships in major cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.
Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, explained that the decision stems from increased operational and production-related costs. Despite this price correction, Ducati remains committed to maintaining its luxury positioning in the premium motorcycle segment. Chandra emphasised Ducati's core values of Style, Sophistication, and Performance, affirming the brand's dedication to delivering sophisticated products and world-class client experiences, the company shared.
In 2023, Ducati introduced a lineup of new motorcycles, including the Monster 30 Anniversario, Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, DesertX Rally, Multistrada V4 RS, Hypermotard 698 Mono, Panigale V4 SP2 30 Anniversario 916, and an upcoming motorcycle set to be unveiled on December 8.
