Automakers kick off Hyderabad E mobility with - Rall E on Sunday

A large contingent of domestic automakers led by Mahindra Last Mile Mobility three wheelers, electric buses from Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) and zero emission vehicles from electric vehicle (EV) makers such as TVS, Ola, Ather, Uber, Grafton, Quantum, Atum Motors, Bud-e Bikes, Pure EV, Eto and Citroen passenger electric cars joined hands to kick off Hyderabad E mobility week with a ‘Rall-E’ of hundreds of electric vehicles on Sunday, Feb 5.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), Government of Telangana said that the government of Telangana is offering incentives and subsidies to encourage people to shift to e-vehicles. “As a result, the State is seeing an increase in EV users and becoming a hub for all-around EV research and development and manufacturing,” added Ranjan.
Industry executives from Apollo Tyres, Stellantis India, M G Motor amongst others were present at the flag off.
The Hyderabad Mobility Week will feature top global and domestic companies exhibiting next-gen electrification technologies, innovative products and solutions in the EV and energy storage systems space.
The flagship event of the Telangana Government will be held between Feb 5-11, 2023, and will culminate with India’s first Formula E race.
