ZELIO Ebikes aims to expand to 400 dealerships by March 2025
ZELIO Ebikes plans to grow its dealership network from 224 to 400 by the end of the fiscal year, focusing on expanding into key states and meeting the rising demand for electric two-wheelers in India.
ZELIO Ebikes, a company in India's electric two-wheeler market, has set a goal to expand its dealership network to 400 by the end of the fiscal year in March 2025. Currently operating 224 showrooms, including one company-owned and operated location, the majority follow the franchise-owned, franchise-operated model.
Hisar, Kaithal, Gwalior, Chhatarpur, and Bhubaneswar are among ZELIO's top-performing markets, driving much of its sales growth. The company plans to expand its presence in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Karnataka.
As of now, ZELIO has a network of 256 dealers, with West Bengal leading the count at 45 dealerships, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 42, Haryana with 40, and other states with varying numbers. ZELIO aims to further capitalize on the increasing demand for electric vehicles in both urban and semi-urban regions.
Co-Founder and Managing Director Kunal Arya noted that the expansion plan aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation. He also acknowledged the support of existing dealers, which has been essential in achieving the company’s growth.
ZELIO’s lineup includes the GRACY and X Men Series of low-speed electric scooters, popular with urban commuters. Recently, the company launched the Eeva series and is preparing to introduce a High-Speed Cargo Scooter with a 90 km range and 150 kg load capacity. This new model is aimed at the logistics and commercial transport sectors, reflecting the company’s broader strategy of offering practical electric mobility solutions.
