VinFast Expands Footprint in India with 24 Operational Dealerships Across Key Cities
The company marks a major step in its India expansion strategy with 24 operational showrooms across major cities, aiming to establish 35 dealerships nationwide by December 2025 and enhance its premium electric mobility network.
VinFast Auto India, a subsidiary of global EV manufacturer VinFast, announced the opening of 24 dealerships across major Indian cities. This development aligns with the company’s plan to set up 35 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2025.
The new showrooms are located in cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Baroda, and Rajkot. Each outlet follows VinFast’s global retail standards, featuring modern design and transparent customer engagement spaces.
Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, stated that India’s growing interest in sustainable mobility continues to drive the company’s expansion. He noted that VinFast aims to make its electric vehicles and services more accessible nationwide while delivering a customer-focused ownership experience.
VinFast’s ecosystem approach combines retail, charging, and after-sales services, supported by partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure. The company’s Tamil Nadu facility in Thoothukudi, spread over 400 acres, will assemble VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs, with a planned initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year, scalable to 150,000 units.
The factory is expected to generate up to 3,500 direct jobs and several thousand indirect ones, contributing to Tamil Nadu’s growing prominence as an EV manufacturing hub in South Asia.
VinFast remains on course to operationalize all 35 dealerships by the end of 2025, further strengthening its network and service presence in India.
