TVS Ntorq 150 launch on September 4
The Ntorq 150 will rival the Hero Xoom 160, Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia’s 160cc scooter range.
Short intro:
The TVS Ntorq 150 will launch on September 4, 2025. With this new model, TVS aims to expand its sporty scooter line-up and take on rivals such as the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155 in the Indian market, along with Aprilia’s 160cc scooter range. Currently, TVS does not have a liquid-cooled engine below the 300cc mark, so it remains to be seen whether the company will develop an all-new motor for the Ntorq 150 or opt for a more cost-effective air-cooled unit, albeit with lower performance.
By virtue of its displacement, the Ntorq 150 will be equipped with at least single-channel ABS, in line with government regulations. Buyers can also expect TVS to deliver on its strengths of a long features list and solid build quality, making this the brand’s largest ICE scooter to date. The Ntorq 150 is expected to carry forward the smaller Ntorq’s sporty styling, with the possibility of running on 14-inch wheels at both ends, similar to its competitors.
Timed close to the festive season, the launch of the Ntorq 150 will coincide with TVS’s upcoming entry-level electric scooter. With other 150cc scooters priced around ₹1.5 lakh, TVS is likely to position the Ntorq 150 in a similar ballpark.
