Suzuki Motorcycle India Reports Sales of 113,600 Units in July 2025
Suzuki Motorcycle India records 113,600 unit sales in July 2025, with domestic retail up 14% year-on-year, despite slight dip in overall volume compared to last year.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the Indian two-wheeler arm of Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation, has announced its sales figures for July 2025.
The company recorded total sales of 113,600 units during the month, comprising 96,029 units sold in the domestic market and 17,571 units exported to international markets. In comparison, SMIPL reported total sales of 116,714 units in July 2024, with domestic sales at 100,602 units and exports amounting to 16,112 units.
Retail sales in the domestic market stood at 93,141 units in July 2025, reflecting a year-on-year increase compared to 81,730 units sold in the same period last year. This marks a growth of approximately 14% in retail performance.
Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., noted the positive trend in customer response. “We are seeing continued customer interest, with retail sales showing growth compared to last year. As the festive season approaches, our focus remains on ensuring a smooth customer experience and maintaining steady performance in the coming months,” he said.
Established in February 2006, Suzuki Motorcycle India operates from its manufacturing facility in Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana. The plant has an annual production capacity of 1.3 million units. The company produces a range of two-wheelers for the Indian market, including scooters in the 125cc segment, premium motorcycles (150cc and above), and its Big-Bike lineup tailored to local preferences.
