Stryder Cycle, a Tata Group company, has expanded its e-bike range with the introduction of two new models, Voltic X and Voltic GO. These e-bikes are being offered at an introductory price of Rs. 32,495 and Rs. 31,495, respectively, which includes a discount of up to 16% off the original price. The launch is part of Stryder’s effort to promote e-bikes as a sustainable mobility option amid concerns about air pollution and traffic congestion.

Rahul Gupta, Business Head of Stryder, noted that e-bicycles can play a role in India's energy transition, aligning with government initiatives aimed at creating a more sustainable transportation ecosystem. He highlighted the convenience of e-bikes as an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative for urban commuting.

Since its founding in 2012, Stryder has grown its presence to over 4,000 retail outlets across India and has expanded its export operations to SAARC, Africa, and the Middle East.

The Voltic X and Voltic GO models are equipped with a 48V splash-proof battery, offering fast charging within three hours and a range of up to 40 kilometers per charge. The Voltic GO features a step-through frame design, targeting riders seeking comfort and ease of use, while the Voltic X offers a more rugged, mountain bike-style design suitable for urban commuting and light off-road use.

Both models include dual disc brakes with automatic power cut-off for enhanced safety and come with a two-year warranty on the battery. As the electric vehicle market in India continues to grow, Stryder's expanded e-bike portfolio provides more options for consumers interested in sustainable transport solutions.
