Spinny Expands Car Selling Services Across Karnataka

Spinny, India's used car platform, has expanded its car selling services to more than 10 cities across Karnataka, including Belgaum, Hubli, Dharwad, Davanagere, Tumkur, Mysore, Hassan, Mangalore, Udupi, and Shimoga.

The expansion builds on the company's existing operations in Bengaluru and represents a push into tier 2 and tier 3 markets across the state. The move aims to provide doorstep car selling services to customers in urban and semi-urban areas.

Spinny's service model allows car owners to receive an online quote, followed by an at-home inspection. After price acceptance, the company processes same-day payment and handles documentation, registration certificate transfers, and vehicle pickup. The platform accepts vehicles across all fuel types, ages, mileage levels, and segments.

The company has recorded growth across multiple metrics in Karnataka, with vehicle inspections increasing by more than 75%, car procurements growing by over 45%, and assured car sales rising by more than 40%. Budget car sales have increased by over 65% in the region.

Cities such as Belgaum, Mangalore, Mysore, Hubli, and Tumkur have emerged as growth centers for the platform's services, according to the company.

Loan adoption on Spinny's platform has more than doubled over the past two years, facilitating car purchases for first-time and budget-conscious buyers. The company operates Experience Hubs and Spinny Park locations where customers can browse vehicles.

Founded in 2015, Spinny operates across 22 cities in India with 57 car hubs. The platform provides a 200-point inspection checklist for vehicles, a five-day money-back guarantee, and a one-year after-sales warranty. The company's investors include cricket player Sachin Tendulkar, who also serves as a brand ambassador.

The expansion into Karnataka's smaller cities reflects the growing demand for organized used car services in markets that previously had limited access to such platforms. The state represents a priority growth market for Spinny as the company continues to scale its operations across India.
