JSW MG Motor India has partnered with real estate developer Confident Group and technology provider IONAGE Technologies to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure in residential complexes across the country.

The automaker has installed over 800 chargers across India under its MG Charge initiative. The company aims to deploy 1,000 chargers within 1,000 days.

The partnership has resulted in the installation of charging stations across nine Confident Group properties in Kerala. IONAGE Technologies provides a platform that allows residents to book charging slots, monitor sessions, and access charging facilities within their residential premises.

JSW MG Motor Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra said the collaboration aims to make EV ownership more accessible for urban communities. The company is focusing on high-demand locations in metropolitan areas as urban EV adoption increases.

IONAGE Technologies CEO Vimal Kumar V stated that the company currently serves over 200 properties and plans to expand to 5,000 residential societies by 2028.

Confident Group Managing Partner Joseph TA said residents have responded positively to the availability of home charging facilities. The partnership covers flagship projects including Confident Lotus and Confident Aquila.
