HMSI Conducts Road Safety Awareness Campaign at Army Public School-Dighi

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) organized a road safety awareness campaign at Army Public School-Dighi in Pune, Maharashtra, as part of its ongoing effort to promote responsible riding habits. The initiative engaged approximately 2,400 students and staff members, aiming to make road safety education more accessible through interactive learning formats.

The campaign introduced young participants to key road safety concepts via activities such as danger prediction training, quizzes, helmet awareness sessions, and practical learning exercises. The Army Public School team facilitated the sessions, ensuring effective engagement throughout the program.

HMSI has been actively expanding its road safety efforts nationwide, targeting schools and colleges to instill a culture of safe riding among younger demographics. The company’s broader commitment aligns with its global vision to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050 and supports India’s objective of halving road accident fatalities by 2030.

The initiative is part of HMSI’s larger corporate social responsibility framework, which includes daily training programs at 10 adopted traffic training parks and six Safety Driving Education Centers. These programs have reached over 97 lakh individuals across India.

Additionally, HMSI launched E-Gurukul, a digital road safety learning platform offering training modules for children aged 5 to 18. Available in multiple regional languages, the platform enhances accessibility and inclusion in road safety education.
