BAXY Mobility unveils new range of electric three-wheeler in India

BAXY Mobility, a division of the BAXY Group, has introduced a new range of electric three-wheelers aimed at expanding the company’s presence in India’s growing electric vehicle market. The new lineup includes both passenger and cargo electric three-wheelers powered by lead-acid and lithium-ion battery technologies. The models range from entry-level options to higher-performance variants, catering to a variety of customer needs in terms of cost and functionality.

BAXY Mobility, which has a history of manufacturing both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) three-wheelers, has been involved in last-mile delivery and shared mobility solutions. The introduction of this electric three-wheeler range represents the company’s ongoing effort to support India’s transition to more sustainable transportation options.

Shiv Bakshi, Managing Director of BAXY Limited, expressed the significance of the launch, stating, “This launch is an important step for us as we continue to work toward making sustainable mobility accessible to more people in India.”

Kumar Ramamurthi, CEO of BAXY Mobility, emphasized the company’s focus on offering solutions that are both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. He stated, “This range is designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers, offering reliable and efficient options for urban and rural mobility.”

The new electric three-wheelers are positioned as energy-efficient alternatives to traditional vehicles, with a focus on affordability and environmental responsibility. The launch event, titled “Charge karo, chal pado,” showcased the new vehicles, highlighting their potential to meet the demands of both urban and rural transportation markets.
