Advancing the strategic focus on the AMG performance brand in India, Mercedes-Benz India inaugurated India’s fourth and Hyderabad’s first AMG Performance Centre (APC) at Mahavir Motors yesterday. It opened another APC in Pune today (BU Bhandari Motors), taking the total number of APCs to five outlets in India.

With these inaugurations in two days, Mercedes-Benz now has five high-end AMG Performance Centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune. 

The AMG Performance Centres are designed to offer an exclusive and customised Mercedes-AMG product experience. Mercedes-Benz has an AMG portfolio comprising seven models in India.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Hyderabad facility, Eberhard Kern, managing director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said: “The increasing popularity of the AMG brand in India excites us. The inaugurations of two more AMG Performance Centres strongly reaffirms our clear customer-centric focus which aims at getting the customers closer to the AMG brand, and offering them the globally renowned and highly customised AMG brand experience. We are also very proud of the fact that India now belongs to an exclusive circle of 400 selected AMG dealers worldwide.
